Potato Chip Cookies




Ingredients 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup white sugar 1 cup half shortening, half margarine 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 eggs 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 cups oats, quick or regular 2 cups potato chips, crushed 1/2 cup nuts, chopped


Instructions 1. Cream together shortening and sugars. Add eggs. Add vanilla, flour, baking soda and oats. Stir only to mix. Add crushed potato chips, nuts and mix. 2. Drop from spoon onto greased cookie sheet. 3. Bake in preheated 375 oven for 10-12 minutes.


Description The salty chips add great flavor to these cookies.


Notes People have trouble determining the mystery ingredient in these wonderful cookies.
