Ingredients
Crust
2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
Filling
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
Combine crumbs and butter. Press onto bottom and sides of a 9" spring form.
Combine cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar and vanilla. Mix at medium speed until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.
Reserve 1 cup of cheese mix.
Ad pumpkin, remaining sugar and spices to remaining cheese mixture. Mix well.
Layer half of pumpkin mixture and half of cheese mixture over crust. Repeat layers. Cut through batter with knife several times for marble effect.
Bake at 350 for 55 minutes. Loosen cake an cool completely before removing. Chill.
