Ingredients 2 pounds ground beef or turkey or mix 1 large onion, diced Olive oil 3/4 mushrooms, sliced 2 green peppers, large dice 3 jars good quality prepared spaghetti sauce
Instructions In oil in large pot, saute onions, mushrooms and peppers. Add meat and break into large chunks and brown. Add sauce and let cook at least an hour, the longer the better, but I said "quick" and it is quick in comparison to a sauce that cooks the whole day.
Description
This is what I call "Quick and Dirty" Spaghetti sauce because I make this when I have neither time nor ambition to make a full, slow simmered sauce. Be sure to use a good quality sauce which has had all the simmering that you don't want to do. I prefer Rao's.
